Owner Karen Black CKD was one of the first Certified Kitchen Designers (CKD) in Oklahoma and one of the first twenty in the U.S. She has over 30 years of experience.
We design and build the kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas assuring quality control from start to finish. We also guarantee our product and service while you are in your home.
We pride ourselves in employing our own highly talented and trustworthy installation crews which gives us the greatest control over quality of work, cost, and scheduling.

Karen Black, C.K.D
Owner/Interior Designer
Karen graduated from the University of Oklahoma with an Interior Design degree through the College of Architecture. She has been designing and implementing kitchens for 30 years.
Karen has been honored by serving as a judge for the National CKD Design Competition in New York and also served as a judge on the University of Oklahoma Interior Design Senior Portfolio Review. Karen has received numerous design awards, lighting awards, and magazine publications such as House Beautiful, Colonial Homes, Women's Day, and the front cover of Kitchens by Professionals.
Leroy Estes
Designer/Estimator
Leroy is a designer on staff with 14 years at a karen black company. Leroy is one of our lead designers that will contribute on projects. Leroy will handle measuring and price estimating of jobs. Leroy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Central Oklahoma where he studied Interior Design. He has completed the Wood-Mode Sales Training Seminar for LifeStyle Design.
Pam Thomas
Office Manager
Pam has been with a karen black company since 2004. Pam will usually be who you speak with on the phone, schedule appointments, and greet you when visiting our showroom. Pam assist with project managing and personally handles the quality control of items coming in. Pam says that after 14 years with the company she still loves her job and enjoys watching the outcome of the finished projects.

Rebuilding Together OKC
Rebuilding Together, a 501(c) 3 organization, rebuilds lives and neighborhoods by making homes safe, warm, and dry for low-income senior citizens in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. Through our Year-Round Emergency Repair / Home Modification Program and our annual "April Work Day" Program, we provide free home repairs, emergency home repairs and home modifications that foster safer mobility and independence, changing the lives of our elderly neighbors every day.

Positive Tomorrows
Positive Tomorrows was founded in 1989 by a group of citizens concerned about homeless children and their lack of access to public education. Founding partners included the Mayor’s Taskforce on Homelessness, Junior League of OKC, YWCA, and Oklahoma City Public Schools.
Originally part of Oklahoma City Public Schools, Positive Tomorrows has become a private, non-tuition school serving homeless and at risk children in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
